From the Farm
Life on the KZN farms behind your eggs
Our trays come from cage-free hens on trusted local farms. Fresh stock arrives weekly at Chatsworth and Camperdown — from pasture to nest box to your kitchen.
Collected for freshness, not supermarket shelves
The Egg Nest is a family business that has sourced eggs from KwaZulu-Natal farms since 1995. Hens live cage-free, eggs are inspected before they reach our stores, and you can taste the difference in the yolk.
We are not a farm shop on a single property — we work with local farmers so Chatsworth and Camperdown always have farm-fresh trays, from everyday Large eggs to Jumbo and Super Jumbo.
